73rd Republic Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm at ICMR- National JALMA Institute for
Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Agra. On this auspicious day, Director-In-Charge Dr. A.M.
Khan hoisted the tricolor flag which was followed by rendition of National Anthem.
ICMR-National JALMA Institute for Leprosy & Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Agra
observed Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 to Commemorate ‘75’Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava”.
The freedom run was flagged off at 7:00 AM on Saturday, 25th September 2021 by Dr. A. M.
Khan, Director-in-Charge of the institute.
The run was started from the Institute to Kalakriti and back to the institute covering a
distance of 2.0 Km. All the staff members actively participated in this event.
Run Kits were distributed among all the participants and refreshment was provided. Director-
in-Charge addressed the gathering and emphasized the need for physical activities in daily
life to remain fit and healthy.
Prizes were distributed among the winners. The programme concluded with the recitation of
National Anthem.
